Community members gathered at the Washington Township Community Center, near the park, to memorialize Yukta Garg, a six-year-old girl who was killed in a car accident in front of the center in 2006. In her honer, her family and others are contributing to build the Butterfly Playground in Countryside Park, located behind the rec center.

The flowers reach full bloom in about a week's time and the flowers will fall about a week later. If it rains, the blooms may fall faster.
