Run Down GM Plant

Weeds and debris lay in and around the shut down GM plant in Moraine, Ohio on Thurdsday July 22, 2010. The current owner of the property, Motors Liquidation Co. has stated they would have the property cleaned by this past Tuesday.

little butterflies


(Left) Allie Scott, 3, and Navya Garg, 2, climb on playground equipment at Countryside Park. Community members gathered at the Washington Township Community Center, near the park, to memorialize Yukta Garg, a six-year-old girl who was killed in a car accident in front of the center in 2006. In her honer, her family and others are contributing to build the Butterfly Playground in Countryside Park, located behind the rec center.

Cherry blossoms stand in bloom near the Hocking River and the Convo on April 4, 2010. Many people gathered to take photos and see the flowers while they are in bloom. The flowers reach full bloom in about a week's time and the flowers will fall about a week later. If it rains, the blooms may fall faster.
