Winter is Fading
(Photo 1 of 2) Buildings stand at the Millfeild Mine disaster site near Millfield, Ohio on March 7 ,2010. The mine blew up on November 5, 1930 and many of the buildings still stand, in varying states of array. Many people died during the explosion and the site holds an eerie feel.

Snow falls on the west side of Athens on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2010, near Union Street and the Smiling Skull. A winter storm was passing through the area was expected to bring 4-8 inches of dry snow before it moved on southward.
