Fireworks = tuffy

The 4th of July, well the 3rd of July anyway.



The City Folk Festival closed off several blocks in downtown near Riverscape for music, food and vendors on July 3, 2009. The fireworks show began at dark over the Great Miami River.


Bike Night (I love my job)

People gather at Jackass Flats, in north Dayton, for their weekly bike night on Wednesday July 1, 2009.The night included food, vendors and live entertainment from the band Diddley.


The "Bud Light Girls" use their sling shot to pass out free merchandise.

This summer has been really busy so far. But I have been interning at the Dayton Daily News and I will be posting some recent photos in the next couple of days. I am really happy with how the summer is going and have had some really neat shooting oppertunities.

Belpre, OH: May 12, 2009. Bridge to Parkersburg, WV, brings Route 50 across the Ohio River.

This gives me an idea. I would like to do a mini series of colors. I wish this web site loaded colors as they appear in 'real life' but I can not figure out the desaturated nature of it and how to counteract it. But all of that aside.. if anyone had seen anything that is a wild color, let me know!
